Daniel Craig Reveals What Store He Went To After Scoring 'James Bond'

Daniel Craig, known for his tuxedo and martini glass as mysterious spy James Bond, visited the Tonight Show closing night. He chatted it up with host Jimmy Fallon in honor of National James Bond Day and had a few tales to share. One of them incorporated having to stay his lip zipped after finding out he'd develop into the newest Bond in 2006.

When Craig first came upon he landed his position in Casino Royale, he wasn't allowed to inform any person. He recounted to Fallon, "I was in Baltimore filming with Nicole Kidman. Barbara Broccoli, one of the producers of the Bond's said to me, 'Over to you kiddo!' But this is the thing, I was in Baltimore, I had a night off (and) a day off the following day. I was like, 'What am I going to do? I can't tell anybody.'"

Fallon seemed astonished as Craig endured, "...Was like don't tell a soul, don't tell your family," Craig then flailed his fingers a little to demonstrate his excitement mixed with angst on the time. While one may think he'd hop over to the nearest Burberry and treat himself for such an accomplishment, he had a more natural idea in mind.

"I was in Whole Foods Supermarket literally with a shopping cart with deodorant and washing liquid, doing my weekly shopping. So I literally ditched that and walked into the liquor section. I bought myself a bottle of vodka, a bottle of Vermouth, a shaker, and a glass," Craig instructed in expressive detail. Nailing one of the crucial coveted roles of all-time calls for the character's signature drink.

"This is the thing and you may not believe this," Craig revealed to Fallon, "I'd never had a martini before. I kind of understood what it was like, 'I'm going to give this a go,'"

Craig instructed a snappy anecdote of when he visited Chicago and attempted a sip of a martini, and thought it simply tasted like vodka. The complete, "it's very dry," thought made him laugh and recall how he drank part the bottle of vodka and went to a local Baltimore bar to rejoice more alone till he could let the secret out.
